I Design Water Wheels
About Us
Greetings, fellow landscape lovers!
I’m so grateful you decided to take a gander at I Design Water Wheels.com. I’m a small businessman who just elevated his hobby to a profession. I’m a retired Navy vet who served his country proudly for 20 years. I reside in the small town of Blythewood, South Carolina, and have been married to my wonderful wife, Dee, for 22 years.
Have you ever pondered an idea you just couldn’t erase from your mind? Well, that’s exactly what I’ve been experiencing since 2001. It all started with a family visit down south to Georgia when me and my wife stumbled across this massive 15ft Water Wheel that decorated the entryway of a community. Talking about impressive, it was more like love at first sight for me! The craftsmanship and the sound of the crashing water brought me peace of mind and ignited a hidden passion inside me. I can build that! That experience alone stuck with me for years, triggering the woodworking hobby in me. I designed my first wheels in the summer of 2010, showcasing them around my own personal landscape.
Those prototypes caught the attention of several people in my neighborhood. Before you know it, several people asked me to build one for them. My focus was solely on three and 4-foot water wheels because, in my experience, they are not too aggressive for most properties. I built a few water wheels for people, but deep down inside me, I knew the craftsmanship needed an overhaul to adjust to the times.
Today, I share with you a newly designed water wheel and a chance to own a piece of my legacy. The uniqueness of my water wheel is that you can order your water wheel to match the exterior color of your home. Additionally, you have three options to change the cap color. No one has designed water wheels quite like this so that you can become an owner of this NEW innovation.
